Clinical Study On Treatment Of Chronic Prostatitis Syndrome With Method Of Driven Stasis And Purging Turbidity

Objective:(1)To summarize the research progress of chronic prostatitis in traditional Chinese medicine. (2)To test and verify the effects of the treatment of chronic pro- statitis with method of driven stasis and purging turbidity and its therapeutic mechanism. Method: (1) To summarize and evaluate the pathogenesis of chronic prostatitis; and preventive measures by consulting a large number of domestic and foreign literatures. (2) Clinical Study:To Observe 50 cases of chronic prostatitis patients who were observed in symptoms, signs, laboratory examination after treatment within 1 month. Result:It has an cure rate of 12% and the total effective rate is 86.5%. There was a significant improve- ment in Micturition symptoms, local pain symptoms, the prostate gland tenderness symp- toms which is compared with previous treatment. There is a visible decrease in the num- ber of WBC and increase in the number of SBC. Conclusion:The theory which is the method of driven stasis and purging turbidity has achieved certain curative effect which decreased the number of WBC and increased the number of SBC. It is proved an effec- tive method.
