Clinical Observation On Treating The Rapid Arrhythmia Of Qi And Yin Deficiency Type With Pingxindingjitang

Objective: Our research aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Pingxindingjitang by comparing curative effect indexes between the treatment group and the control group.Methods: Dividing the 60 patients into two groups stochastically (the control group 30 and the treatment group 30) applying drugs separately for 1 month are an observation treating course. The control group uses propafenone 150mg q8h; The treatment group applies the Pingxindingjitang. Observing TCM symptom tongue and pulse changes. Results: In the total curative effect the control group obviously the efficiency is 23.33%, the total effectiveness is 76.67%. the treatment group respectively is 24.00% and 86.67%.The two group has non-statistics differences (p>0.05). The treatment group has obviously differences on the 5 group of symptom palpitation chest distress dizziness weakness and insomnia after the treatment(p<0.01) , the control group appears no obviously differences on the 2 groups of symptoms (p>0.05) , but has the significance difference on other 3 groups of symptoms (p<0.01). Conclusion:There is no remarkable difference of total curative effect between the two groups. The treatment group could improve the symptoms and control arrhythmia better.
