Clinical Studies Of The HuaiQiHuang Granules To Acute Child Recurrent Respiratory Tract Infection In Syndrome Of Dual Deficiency Of Qi And Yin

ObJective:To observe the HuaiQiHuang granules' clinical efficacy for acute child recurrent respiratory tract infection (RRTI) in syndrome of dual deficiency of qi and yin.Methods:To divide the 166 cases of RRTI in syndrome of dual deficiency of qi and yin into two groups randomly,84 cases are in control group, only to treat with simulation medicine of HuaiQiHuang granules in the dormant period; 82 cases are in treatment group, only to treat with HuaiQiHuang granules in the dormant period. If anyone appears respiratory infection in treatment period, stops the treatment until the people recover and the course of the illness surpasses 10 days. Makes a follow-up visiting for a year, then to observe the indicators of patients' syndrome scores, the times of respiratory infection,etc.Results:The total effective rate of treatment group is 96%, control group 64%, the difference has statistical significance; before and after the treatment, illness scores, times of respiratory infection in both the treatment group and control group have been improved, however, the treatment group improves more distinctly than the control group, which has statistical significance.Conclusion:The syndrome of dual deficiency of qi and yin is one of the four main types of RRTI, effecting of reinforcine qi and nourishing yin can improve the body resistance, encouraging healthy trends and checking unhealthy ones. HuaiQiHuang granule is an important treatment, which significantly can reinforcine qi and nourish yin, improve the clinical symptoms of patients.
