Objective:The purpose of this study was to explore the association of osteoprotegerin gene polymorphisms 950T/C and 1181G/C in the Han population of Fujian province with the blood stasis syndrome of acute coronary syndrome, guiding the diagnosis and treatment.Methods:240 cases of unrelated Fujian Han people was enrolled,180 patients with blood stasis syndrome in patients with ACS were divided into 3 groups, including ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) group,60 cases; non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI) group,60 cases; unstable angina pectoris (UAP) group,60 cases; and 60 normal controls. All of the subjects venous blood extracted DNA, different groups of osteoprotegerin gene polymorphism was identified by polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP).We analysis OPG 950T/C and 1181G/C genotype frequencies and allelic frequencies between blood stasis syndrome ACS subjects and normal subjects and among the three groups of ACS.Results:1,No significant difference was found in age and gender constituent ratio between the ACS groups and control groups. The frequencies of OPG 950T/C and 1181G/C genotypes are constistent with Hardy-weinberg law, which indicate the samples come from the same group P> 0.05.2,OPG 950T/C polymorphism was existing in Hans population of Fujian, the frequency of TC genotype was the highest among OPG genotypes(46.7%),TT genotype(28.3%),CC genotype(25%) and OPG 1181G/C polymorphism was existing in Hans population of Fujian, the frequency of GG genotype was the highest among OPG genotypes(53.3%),GC genotype(38.7%),CC genotype(7.9%).3,No significant differences were observed in the genotype and allelic frequencies of OPG gene 950T/C,1181G/Cbetween the ACS and control groups.4,OPG 950T/C,1181G/C polymorphism of the distribution were found within blood stasis syndrome of acute coronary syndrome group:No significant differences were observed in the genotype and allelic frequencies of PG gene 950T/C(P=0.087 and 0.065); No significant differences were observed in the genotype and allelic frequencies of PG gene (P=0.297 and 1.31).5,Blood stasis syndrome of acute coronary syndrome patients according to coronary angiography, in which 83 patients with single vessel disease, double vessel disease in 50 patients,47 patients with three or more lesions, OPG gene 950T/C,1181G/C in all lesions was no difference between groups statistically significant (P=0.334 and 0.711).6,OPG 950T/C,1181G/C polymorphism were not assoiated with blood stasis syndrome of acute coronary syndrome, but linkage of polymorphism 950T/C,1181G/C,we can found that the presence of either 950TC/1181GC or 950CC/1181CC genotype was associated with an independently and significantly increased risk for blood stasis syndrome of acute coronary syndrome, with an OR of 1.58 (95%Cl=1.131-2.378).Conclusion:1,OPG gene polymorphism were existing in Hans population of Fujian Han, and have some association wiht acute coronary syndrome.2,OPG gene polymorphisms in Han population of Fujian have some association wiht acute coronary syndrome of blood stasis syndrome.
