Reserch On Layout And Planning Of Medical Distribution Center

Reasonable system planning of the distribution center (DC) is necessary for its operation, and closely related to the reduction of its logistics cost. With the continuously rapid development of domestic pharmaceutical market and the change of pharmaceutical industry policies, as well as the competitive pharmaceutical logistics market, the in-depth study of medical logistics has great practical significance. The research studied theories related to system planning of DC and provided effective approaches in layout and planning problem of medical DC with the special background of pharmaceutical industry.Firstly, the research studied the forecasting methods and features of the business volume of distribution center. With the characteristics of pharmaceutical logistics, the research selected double exponential smoothing method(one of time series forecasting methods) and linear regression analysis(one of causal analysis methods), and apply a rational combination of the two methods to solve the forecasting problem of medical DC with WinQSB software; Secondly, the research studied the layout planning and selection of functional areas in DC. With the division of functional areas, the designing of lines and the calculation of logistics volume, we designed the layout schemes in DC according to SLP methods, and then applied the quantitative evaluation method and Proplanner software to select the final layout scheme; After that, we studied and selected AHP method to decide the equipments in DC and applied the device configuration calculation method to determine the amount of equipments.Finally, we take a specific example of medical distribution center. The example applied and verified the methods of the above researches in logistics volume forecasting, functional areas layout planning and selection, and the equipment selection.
