Camellia oleifera is a unique edible woody oil plant in Southern China. The paperselected "kMin43" annual grafted seedlings as test materials, which is preferred main cultivarsin the Fujian Province, and dealt camellia seedlings after lifting with spraying aspirin, fulvicacid ecological agent, plant antitranapirant, using plant drought-resistant and water-retainingagent dipping and not treated placed indoor and outdoor six treatments.And then the paperresearched the influence of different water-retaining processing to the physiological andbiochemical indexes as well as water-retaining effects, to benefit with the camellia survivalrate of afforestation in the future. This paper found out that:1.During placement, the seedling survival rate and leaf moisture capacity had adownward trend, the same with seedling height of different storage time seedlings and grounddiameter growth rate. Camellia seedlings applied with water-retaining treatment can placelonger than that not with water-retaining treatment. At the same time; it can also keep leafmoisture capacity at a high level and promote growth in height and diameter The influence ofplant antitranapirant to Camellia seedling survival rate and leaf moisture capacity is the mostobvious, followed by aspirin, water retention and fulvic acids, indoor and outdoor processing.Water-retaining processing played an impotrant role on improving seedling height, so aspirinon ground diameter. There existed remarkable distinction between seedling growth index withdifferent storage time and different treatment.2.Withthe extension of storage time, camellia seedling stomatal conductance andtranspiration rate with indoor and outdoor processing always tended to be decline, four kindsof water-retaining treatment first decreased then increased and then decreased again. Seedlingwith six processing net photosynthetic rate and Chlorophyll Content shown a downward trend.Intercellular CO2concentration before decreased and then increased. Fulvic acid treatmentacted elTectively on seedling photosynthetic Characteristics, followed by anti-transpiration,aspirin,and water-retaining liquid. The differences between each treatment were highlysigniifcant.3.Antioxidant enzyme system had a positive response on seedling water-loss during theprocess of atfer lifting placement. Camellia seedling SOD total activity, POD activity andCAT activity with six processing was increased and then decreased in general. Aspirintreatment had the most influence on seedling SOD total activity,so antitranspiration on POI)activity and water-retaining on CAT activity. Protective enzyme activity between differenttreatments showed a remarkable difference,4.According to the assay of Malondialdehyde, Malondialdehyde with six processingalways firstly increased and then decreased during placement. During the prophase, indoorand outdoor processing had the rising trend; it shown that camellia seedling membrane lipidperoxidation with two processing was the most seriously, Malondialdehyde of watering retention rose the highest with the four kinds of processing, followed by fulvic acid, aspirinand antitranspiration. Differences of camellia seedling malondialdehyde content between thedilTcrent storage time and different treatments were very significantly,5. During placement, indoor and outdoor treatment camellia seedlings proline, solubleprotein and soluble sugar content increased and then decreased. The camellia seedlingsprc-proline and soluble protein content of four water conservation measures rose slowly and soluble sugarcontent decreased during the earlier stage, then in the later stage, three kinds of osmotic adjustmentsubstances were firstly shown a significant rise and in the last a significant downward trend. Aspirin playeda significant role in the promotion of proline synthesis during the six treatments. Anlitranspiranthad the most obvious function on the promotion of soluble protein synthesis. The solublesugar content of the camellia seedlings placed in the room rose to the highest. The distinctionof three kinds of osmotic adjustment materials had reached a significant level betweendifferent treatments and time.6. By the principal component analysis and membership function analysis,it can beconcluded that the water-retaining effect of six kinds of processing water from strong to weakwas as follows: antitranspiration, water retaining agent, aspirin, fulvic acid, indoor andoutdoor.
