Our country's average per person fresh water resource capacity is little, the water resource distribution in space and time is extremely imbalanced. With the rapid development of society, the rapid growth in life water demand has led to countries suffering the pain and the threat of water shortages, especially the countries located in an arid and semi-arid area, and the countries like China that have large arid and semi-arid area. In arid region of northwest China, the transpiration rate is big, the water resources is deficient and the irrigation method is unreasonable, so the soil salinization and secondary salinization phenomenon is serious, which affects the growth of plants. Therefore, it is important for the arid area to search for a reasonable irrigation pattern and improve soil salinization.As the province in inland arid region whose water shortage is the most serious, Xinjiang belongs to temperate continental climate and has rich natural salt resource. In such area can easily lead to soil salinization if the irrigation pattern is mproper. Thus it can be seen that a reasonable advanced water-saving irrigation technique is particularly important for Xinjiang.Drip irrigation under film is one kind of measures for saving water to change the way of flooding irrigation for thousands of years, it is based on the research of water and salt transport features and has comprehensive consideration of the shortage of water resources and ecological environment problems. It irrigates according to the crops best water demand, achieves a higher efficiency with a small amount of water. This irrigation pattern can not only improve the utilization of water, but also develop and use saline-alkali soil and prevent soil salinization, which is a effective measure for the traditional agriculture to change into high-yield,high-quality and efficient agriculture.The article studies the reasons for the formation of saline-alkali land, discusses the water and salt transport features of saline-alkali land in Xinjiang under the condition of drip irrigation, studies the migration and the distributed situation of soil moisture content and the salinity in the level and the vertical direction, that around drop head has formed one salinity desalination area; Analyzes the changes of soil salinity in crops'different growing period, reach the conclusion that the salinity decreases when irrigation, otherwise increases, in other words, salt moves along with water; researches the effect of drip irrigation on groundwater depth and salinity; Analyzes the salinity migration situation under different soil texture, the salinity distribution regularity in loam is more regular than in sandy soil and clay. On this basis, the article puts forward corresponding improvement measures.
