As a sharp shortage of coal and other primary energy resources, more environmental protection, lower pollution and fewer emissions pursuit is currently strived for. Electric generation industry has a evolution towards high parameters, large capacity that ultra supercritical technology becomes focus. In order to match the power load fluctuation in net, the load performance of the large unit needs to be studied in depth. Based on that, this paper studies that coal-fired power units under ultra-supercritical developing play the important role in load-peaking, which is the most traditional and widely used in our country. This paper focuses how to choose the most suitable way to operate unit in order to response load change so that getting highest economic benefit. Meanwhile according to the equipment depreciation during starting, stopping and load change, turbine rotor is analyzed by integration of finite element simulation and numerical model in terms of temperature field, stress field, loss of life and etc. The relationship between time, stress, loss and Rate of temperature rise will be helpful in actual production.Taking high economic efficiency and small loss of life as two aims of load distribution while load peak, a modified genetic algorithm which using parallel way layering results so that it shall get non-inferior solution in case of contradictory between economic efficiency and loss of life. It achieves equilibrium for both economy and safety when load changes.
