Through an intensive study of Electrical Design Visualization, virtual design technology and motor control simulation technology, we propose a new motor design method. This method combine Computer Aided Design technology with Virtual Reality technology, realize the visual design of BLDC motor's Electromagnetic performance, and use OpenGL simulation technology to build virtual scene of brushless DC motor. The motor we design can be added to a virtual environment for motor control simulation. The simulation result can revise the design parameters to realize the optimize design.We first gave some research and analyses on the principle of BLDC motor visual design, described the electromagnetic design method and the optimization method of the stator lamination design in details, according to the motor stator and rotor geometry, we use the points, line, surface way, its surface is divided into a number of small plane to find the coordinates of each vertex, and finally using the OpenGL primitive constructor to create its three-dimensional physical model, followed by optimization of the target volume to the stator, a motor designe to meet the brushless DC motor performance under the conditions of the target parameters, so that the stator is the smallest.Second, in order to show the motor performance vividly, the BLDC motor control system modeling has been studied, and we elaborate on the BLDC motor control system simulation and modeling approach. We study on the creation methods of the virtual system, and use the Matlab interface for VC++ to realize the system simulation of the motor system, and control the virtual object rotation based on the simulation result.Finally, a BLDC motor virtual design system is developed according to the electromagnetic design and modeling of BLDC motor control system approach. The system provide the basic parameter design of BLDC motor. It can do fast and reliable calculation, and produce the three-dimensional model of the motor,.It can adjust the motor performance to best according to the virtual simulation result and the feedback information. Through the parameters of the motor design and virtual simulation, enhanced motor design interaction and visibility, efficiency and reliability of the motor design has been further improved.
