On The De Velopment Of Ecological Landscape Gardens Under The Background Of New Socialist Countryside Construction In Yangtz River Delta

With the increasing pace of new socialist countryside construction, rural modernization and the integration of urban and rural areas are rapidly changing the existing landscapes of countryside in China. At the same time, rural development is also faced with the triple crisis of ecology, landscape, and culture. Under such circumstances, ecological landscape gardening, a kind of sightseeing agriculture, combined with tourism, recreation, education and research, has been developing very quickly in recent years in our country. The development of agriculture ecotourism has practical significance to dealing with the issues concerning agriculture, countryside and farmers, as well as the sustainable development of integration of urban and rural areas. However, at present, the study of ecological gardening is still very lack, and a series of problems have appeared in the course of the construction of ecological gardens in the background of new socialist countryside construction, which has hindered the construction of ecological civilization, and the implementation of the policies regarding to it. Thus, we should discuss how to further build and develop our ecological gardens from different angles, and establish a more advanced theoretical framework for ecological landscape gardens.With ecological gardens in Jiangnan as the research object and based on the field investigation, information analysis, case studies, and so on, this paper analyzes the problems in the present work of ecological gardens, especially in Taicang, Jiangnan, and from several different levels puts forward ideas, methods and development strategies for the further construction of ecological landscape gardens in Jiangnan.
