Technology And Engineering Application Of Long Span Composite Of Vierendeel Sandwich Plates Structure

The new steel-concrete combination of vierendeel sandwich plate is a new plated spatial structure which is worth popularizing in long span multi-story public buildings and industrial factory buildings. With the new gymnasium in Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine as the engineering background, the paper introduced the construction features and calculation methods of the new steel-concrete combination of vierendeel sandwich plate. From the point of view of convenient construction, the construction drawings and joints details for the floor structure was given. And the formwork supporting system was designed and checked for the project, and provide reference for the construction design of long span open-web floor. The main contents are as follows:1,By comparison with other vierendeel sandwich plates, the different construction feature is the composite lower ribs made by U-shaped steel plate. And the high strength bolt connection was used in the joints. The key joint construction of the composite vierendeel sandwich plate has been described in detail.2,The key design procedure of the new steel-concrete combination of vierendeel sandwich plate structure is based on the discretization linear elastic analysis method, established the stiffness matrix for beam-column element,plate-shell element and block element in global coordinate system, assembled the global stiffness matrix,given the relation between nodal load and nodal displacement, and derived the global stiffness equation.3,The practical calculation method of the new steel-concrete combination of vierendeel sandwich plate structure was summarized. And the method was used in the new gymnasium engineering in Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine. From the point of view of construction, the treatment measures of joint construction have been proposed for convenient construction.4,The formwork supporting system was designed and checked for long span vierendeel sandwich plates used in the new gymnasium engineering in Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine. The checking calculation results showed that the steel column bracing which in size 4mx4m could satisfied the stiffness requirement and strength requirement, both in formwork supporting process and removal process. Moreover, the formwork and bracing system at the side and bottom of the beam was satisfied the stiffness requirement and strength requirement. The paper provided reference for the construction design of long span vierendeel sandwich plates.
