The boiler industry is a traditional industry, at present, single profile and combination profile is often used to design rigid beam, main beam and other structures, and the more combination profile are used in such design . The boiler design need the cross-sectional view and the projection view of the profile(single profile and combination profile),and the parametric design of the profile only generates the single profile's cross-sectional view in the two-dimensional system which is the main system of the boiler design, while the combination profile can only be spliced manually, it is inefficient, and the projection view still isn't automatically generated by the cross-sectional view at all, and no any library management for graphics is to manage the views for the reuse of the design achievement. To solve these problems, a system which is Research and Development of The Parametric Rapid Design System for the Combination Profile based on the technology of the parameter driving and the database building from Tianyu part library is developed in this paper, and the single profile's cross-sectional view is automatically generated in this system。A algorithm, of that the information of the profile's contour was automatically picked up and the blanking of the profile's contour, was gave and was used to generate the projection view. Based on the algorithm, a algorithm of the parametric combination was gave and was used to achieve that the profile could be free combined and the cross-sectional view and the projection view of the combination profile could be automatically generated. Finally, the library of the combination profile was built to achieve the parametric management of the combination profile.The main content includes several parts as follows.First, the several parametric technology commonly used in the two-dimensional environment is surveyed, and its advantages and disadvantages is analyzed. The parametric technology which will be used in the thesis is gave .Also in the thesis ,the current blanking algorithm for two-dimensional graphics is analyzed, and the reason of that such the blanking algorithm will not be suitable for the graphics of the profile is gave, and the method of getting the information of the profile's contour and the profile's blanking is gave in the thesis.Then, the architecture model of Research and Development of the Parametric Rapid Design System for the Combination Profile is put forward by requirements analysis of this system, and every architecture of this system is analyzed and summarized in detail, and also the parametric technology used in this system is introduced.Next, the generation principle of the cross-sectional graphics of the single profile in Research and Development of the Parametric Rapid Design System for the Combination Profile is researched, and a algorithm, of that the information of the profile's contour is automatically picked up and the blanking of the profile's contour and a combination of the profile, is used to automatically generated the single profile's projection view and the combination profile's cross-sectional view and projection view, and also a library of the combination profile is built to achieve the parametric management for the combination profile by the research of database.Finally, the generation principle of Research and Development of the Parametric Rapid Design System for the Combination Profile is introduced by a example and the research achievement which is achieved in this thesis.
