The Research Of Design Approaches Of Compound Ecosystem-Oriented Urban Waterfront Landscape

Urban rivers have played important role in the development of society and city. Today,industrialization and urbanization lead to the all-time crisis of habitation,the waterfront as the most sensitive area in urban ecological environment which the industrial civilization with accelerating of urbanization and fast enlarging of city size, some problems, such as the pollution of the environment, the unbalance of development of economy and culture brought about a good many sickness to waterfront. The design of the city waterfront is always the limelight in the urban planning design recently years, the development of economy ,the ecological city and the atmosphere of culture beckon urban waterfront with complex ecological system.The paper firstly introduces the topic of basis and background of the subject, and then describes theoretical and practical value. Through summing up the international research trends of the ecological planning, complex ecological systems and urban waterfront landscape planning in the past, the author found that the current theory and practice lack of comprehensive consideration in ecological environment ,socio-economic and culture problem .Therefore, the innovation of the paper is with the perspective of complex ecosystem to consider the approach of city waterfront planning and constitute the urban waterfront landscape design research framework.With the basis of ecology, ecological planning theory and complex ecosystem theory, starting from the relevant issues, the author combines with the development process of urban waterfront and investigation of a few of famous urban waterfront such as Stalin's Riverside Park in Harbin, Suzhou Jinji Lake and the Shanghai Huangpu river of the section Bund. The author proposed elements of urban waterfront and their ecological relevance. The article sees it as clues and derived from the attribute of various elements formed the research of landscape ecology, economic ecology, cultural ecology.Finally, the author set the Shuicheng urban waterfront as an empirical example. To balance the situation ofenvironmental resources, social and economic development, construction cultural environment with theory of system optimization of ecological optimization approach, economic and ecological optimization approach, cultural ecological optimization approach. The author hopes that making the theory into practice, and propose recommendations for further research.
