The civil engineering application in saline soil area is necessary to the development of the national economy in the special area. The province of Qinghai in Golmud region distributes the saline soil of the big area, because of being subjected to the saline soil influence of bad engineering properties, the construction of the highway and railway is quality disease by the saline soil land to harm over a long period of time of harass, and the movement of moisture-heat-salt is the main reason that causes the diaease in the subgrade in saline area such as tuberositas loose and dehiscence. Salt expantion is harmful to the constraction of railroad highway and buildings too.For resolving the highway rialroad and buildings to be subjected to the problem of the saline soil endanger by the root The soil sample in this thesis from Salt Lake Area of GeErMu. Investigating through many times, this paper studies the characteristics of soluble salt, earring on sample's collecting from the region that passes the spot to harm the serious distriction and saline soils to distribute to the concentration to the railway disease, Carrying on the experiment of the indoor soil work, and Carrying on the saline soil basic physics and chemistry mechanics in dieffrent water content salt content and alternation of freezing and thawing, meanwhile, carrying on mechanics of the saline soil to produce stress under partial environment fators and different soil combination, and mechanism explanation of these factors and effects is made. Finally, for the Salt Lake area disease and the special section of the roadbed, we researched on the impaction of embankment by Ultra-chlorine saline soil physical properties moisture absorption disintegration impaction on the subgrade.
