Study On The Protection Countermeasures And Comprehensive Assessment Of Biodiversity In Shanxi Province

Biodiversity is closely related to sustainable development of human society, biodiversity assessment is the foundation of biodiversity conservation and management. To obtain precise biodiversity information is a foundation of scientific decision——making for biodiversity conservation.Based on the existing achievements and information, combined with the wild supplementary investigation.This paper created a comprehensive index system and calculation expression for evaluating regional biodiversity that were composed of wildlife richness, wild vascular bundle plant richness, diversity of ecosystem types, completeness of vertical stratification of vegetation, endemism, extent of Mien species invasion and endangered species richness. We use this method to evaluate the biodiversity conservation in 110 counties of Shanxi province by the county area as the basic assessment unit. Meanwhile, cluster analysis on geographical distribution of plants in 42 nature reserve was taken by stratified method.(1) Warm-temperate climate and the complex terrain provide an excellent habitat for animals and plants.2121 wild vascular bundle plant species, which belong to 685 genera of 152 families. Meanwhile,481 wildlife species, which belong to 34 orders and 108 families. There are ninety-six ecosystems, combined by four vegetation formations.635 endemic species, of which 591 wild vascular bundle endemic plants and 44 endemic wildlife species.16 invasive species, of which 14 wild vascular bundle invasive plants and only 2 invasive wildlife species.(2) According to biodiversity comprehensive index, biodiversity status can be divided into four levels in 110 counties of Shanxi province.24 of 110 countries have high biodiversity, accounting for 21.82% of total country number; 30 counties have moderate biodiversity, accounting for 27.27%; 100 counties have medium-low biodiversity, accounting for 36%; and 16 counties have low biodiversity, accounting for 14.55%. All counties belonging to above-mentioned rich biodiversity mainly distribute in the Zhongtiao mountains, Lvliang mountains and Taihang mountains.(3) Taking 42 nature reserve as the entity and initial data matrix on the basis of wild plant's binary data.42 nature reserve is divided into nine geographic area according to similarity coefficient of Jaccard. The results reflect the relation and distinction on the diversity regions of wild plants and distinct difference on the flora composition of north-south wild plants.
