According to the investigation and monitoring of present environmental protection, the environmental protection implementation effect of sewage treatment, soil erosion, vegetation recovery, desertification prevention, solid waste collection and handling, noise and vibration monitoring were analyzed along Qinghai-Tibet Railway from Ge Ermu to La Sa.and then improvement measures were pointed out.Monitoring analysis results are as follows:(1)The effluent quality in railway 14 Sewage Treatment Stations was exceed the standard in different extent. And the average removals of SS, NH3-N, CODCr, BOD5 were 70.5%,61.7%,77.1% and 81.5% respectively.Overall the treatment effect were good, except Tuotuo river and Yangtze river station, the overall emissions success rate over 85%, gained good treatment effects; (2)There are no protective measures for the some destroyed surface along the railway.and existing soil erosion problems in different extent.Especially in the Quicksand area of both Tuotuo River bridge north and east Cuona lake,the wind erosion phenomenon is more serious; uner the measures of Stone pane, skeleton, gravel ground cover, turf transplants, grow grass artificially shielding,the protection effect of soil erosion for roadbed, road cutting, earth-gathering field, Abandoned Dreg Site is good.(3) Most along Qinghai-Tibet railway, sparsely populated for no man's land, only in Yangpachen-Lhasa there are Residents residential, and less concentrated. The noise affect by railway in the sensitive relatively little sound monitoring of five most representative to the sensitive, center elementary school in Gulu town and DuiLongDeQing county middle school, the sensitive noise beyond the school day and night limit value 60dB(A)/50dB(A), suggest to take noise reduction measures, set up sound insulation or noise barriers facilities, others can reach the standard; (4) By vibration influence along the railway is very few, large bridge Qingshui river bridge section and lead 120m embankment sections within vertical vibration monitoring results maximum Z are satisfactory level《the urban area environment vibration standards》(GB10070-88) "on both sides" standard railway lines, the train vibration can accelerate permafrost melt, but specific influence degree evaluation is not suitable to assess, depending further study; (5) The Natural environments in the north Tangsong section of Qinghai-Tibet railway is bad, Soil and water conservation depend on engineering measures mainly, the vegetation restoration slowly, should combined the engineering measures and Biological measures, so the vegetation can gain effective restoration; taken stone pane, high vertical shield wall, sand bag shield wall combination of sand engineering measures in the serious desertification area, which guaranteed the railway operation safety,while for the desertification hasn't got significant effect, should study effective measures as soon as possible; (6) Railway junk is mainly train station garbage and Living garbage.the discharge of rubbish from train is zero emission along the Railway, the whole line of garbage is collected to golmud and Lhasa, and the collection and handling effect is good by focusing on Sanitary landfill. The amount of garbage collection throughout the year in Nanshan station is the most,the following is Nagqu station, Lhasa station, Tuotuohe station.and Wuliangdao station and Yanshiping station has less collection and the amount of waste is change with the number of visitors to Tibet.
