Using the high-class rheometer RS600, some factors are evaluated to influence the polymer solution rheological properties and viscoelastic characteristic, such as polymer solution concentration,molecular weight,water salinity,placed time,mechanical shear and external temperature and so on. It sees about impact on performance of various factors in polymer solution. It also observe polymer solution viscosity reserved ratio under the condition of different water quality.To close to the practical situation of fieldwork, we carry out 30 meters long filling sand tube core experiment to simulate underground reservoir condition. The polymer flooding experient is being done. We observe the loss rate in long distance migration process in oil viscosity,concentration and molecular weight. It also research the corresponding change with the increased migration distance in polymer system and the influence to recovery.
