Chemical Flooding plays an important role in the development process of Daqing oilfield. And petroleum researchers are always interested in chemical Flooding.Especially in our country chemical flooding is the important part of enhancing oil recovery. Its basic application research is just unfolding. Up to now, most polymers applied in oil and gas production have some problems when used in high temperature or high salinity reservoirs.This project was advanced in order to explain the flooding mechanism and confirm the rational application condition for the anti-salt polymer with low molecular weight.According to the overall evaluating about microstructure and macroscopic solution characteristics, both lacks and strongpoint and the differences of improving oil recovery and adaptability to oil reservoir were summed up objectively and the main influencing factors which affected oil recovery in polymer flooding were still studied. Innovatively, the paper concludes the interactional correlation between the influence among molecules of anti-salt polymer and the hydrodynamic radius distributing. The characteristics and mechanism of flowing and flooding were presented from both micro and macro points of view, and according to these theories, the adaptability of anti-salt polymer to the circumstance of Daqing oilfield was indicated too. The indexes and evaluating methods were completed and amended, and these correlative cognitions and conclusions were validated by dynamic character of field experiments.According to this research, the flooding mechanism of anti-salt polymer was parsed, and combining with field requirements, the applicable condition could be confirmed too. At the same time, the varieties of polymer which have obvious molecular structure characteristic and better application to low or even ultralow permeability oil layer and can improve the oil recovery much more could be selected too.
