The reform of electricity market rebuilds the traditional management with market mechanism, breaks monopolization, imports competition, advances efficiency, optimizes resource, and speeds the electricity and society harmonious. Finally we will build the national power network, construct the equitable, exoteric, steady and effective electricity system, and achieve the maximization of society resource and benefit. With the development of the reform of electricity market, the participation of hydropower has been attracting more and more attention. The Research of bidding strategy for hydropower plants has become one of the hottest issues in the research of electricity market. So it is very necessary to have a hydropower price bidding technique supporting system which can be used for analyzing the usable information, can produce the operation characteristic and cost analysis to combine and generate electricity and can help the hydropower plants obtain the greatest economic benefits through proposing the optimum quotation.Firstly, the definition, characteristic, construction type, operation mode and transaction mode are introduced at the beginning. The paper also studies the way to gain the maximal benefits for generate company in electricity market. On the external circumstance, it must implement the bidding based the market change and kinds of information. In the company inside, it must carry out the optimization attemper and distribute to gain the maximal benefits.Secondly, this paper presents a mathematical bidding model based on probability theory and game theory. In order to meet the maximum profits for Generation Company, This paper also analyzes detailedly the bidding successful possibility of generation company, and draws an optimal bidding strategies that can fulfil the maximum expectation profits.Thirdly, the paper introduces the way of forecasting the market clearing price (MCP) and the applied Electricity Value Equivalent (EVE) pricing method based the characteristic and competition mod of hydropower plant, the paper also builds the bidding strategies based game theory, and anticipant benefit maximization theory for the hydropower plant,Finally, in order to meet the requirement of power market, the assistant decision-making system for generation bidding of hydroelectric power plant is built. This paper mainly describes the characteristic and generation bidding model of hydroelectric power plant, constructs the whole network configuration of generation bidding assistant decision-making system, and introduces detailedly the main functions of the assistant decision-making system of hydroelectric power plant, and advance the basic scheme and process of the decision-making system hardware and software.
