Laser imaging radar can output 3D image including intensity image and range image, using image to identify and track targets. 3D Laser imaging radar system have been studied in this dissertation. Then a research project of 3D-imaging ladar using a solid-state pulse laser has been proposed, and the primary and critical problems of the theory and technology of the project have been discussed. A ladar prototype has been manufactured, with which lots of systematic experiments have been carried out.A research project of non-scanning 3D imaging laser radar is explained. the project adopts pulsed laser ranging in noncoherent detect mode, uses a wavelength of 1064 nm solid-state pulse laser as the laser source, detects objects with optical fiber coupled APD array plane array detector, and obtain diatance images and intensity images of objects simultaneously. The laser radar system launched by the radar transmit system, receiving system, control system, signal processing systems and etc.Focused to FPGA and MCU as the core of imaging laser radar signal processing systems. A high-precision method to measure time interval is proposed with delay line interpolators in FPGA. The principle and implementation of the method are discussed in details. Hardware and software of signal processing systems are designed, The program of FPGA and MCU are developed, and the functions are implemented such as high-precision method to measure time interval measurement, commamd response and high-speed data thansmission.Using the protoyype lots of experiments are made, and its main performance and imaging effect are tested. The problems of system in experiments was improved, the results of experiments shows that the three-dimensional laser imaging mechanism and three-dimensional laser imaging technology is feasible.
