Temperature indicating paints is used to measure engine high temperature parts surface temperature more and more by right of it's especial advantages for example non- disturb current , non-destroy test part and large area measurement.This paper summarizes study background, expands manufacture, spray technics, demarcation and validation test of temperature indicating paints, and analyzes some infection factors to temperature indicating paints changing color. Through a great deal of test, results indicate temperature indicating paints manufactured by China gas turbine establishment has very good application effect. It has accomplished a great deal of surface temperature measurement tasks. It will be applied wider in market through optimizing.
