FC-AE (Fiber Channels Avionics Environment) standard was released in 1997, which has defined Fiber Channels protocol used in avionics environment. FC-AE-1553 protocol was defined as the high performance communication data bus in avionics environment, which can take place of MIL-STD-1553 with high data transmitting ratio, and will be the communication standard of the next generation aircraft.Firstly we introduce FC-AE-1553 and FC-FS protocol detaily, then put forward the structure of FC-FS protocol which is supported by FC-AE-1553. The structure includes FC-AE-1553 hardware and software interface, FC-FS FC1 transmit and receive module, FC2 transmit and receive module, portstate machine module, transmit flow control module.Secondly we introduce TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) theory, analyze traditional TMR structure, Space-Time TMR structure and advanced space-time TMR structure. Simulate those structures with Modelsim, validate the theory with the simulation result.At last, we implement and validate the whole design in Xilinx's FPGA develop platform ISE10.1, EDK10.1, ChipScope10.1, analyze the simulation result and find out the whole system's shortage.In this paper, we bring out FC-AE-1553 hardware structure and hardware and software interface.Validate the whole system with simulation. FC-AE-1553 protocol chip design is a new subject, there is only a few system designs can be used for reference, so this paper's research can be referenced for the products' of FC-AE-1553 devlopment.
