Mobile IP (MIP) can maintain the connection with Internet while the mobile node is moving in the network, but all of the mobile IP protocols are applying with mobile node as the center role, switch-related decision-making in most cases is made only by the mobile node itself. Other IP mobility management protocol such as the Internet Key Exchange Protocol mobility and multi-home expansion (MOBIKE), Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP), as well as Host Identity Protocol (HIP) are all initiated by mobile terminals switching the agreement, that there is no network side of the entity to support the intelligent switching decisions, in most cases, the mobile node makes the switch itself when it moves to another access network. However, the majority of existing mobile lP techniques are based on the terminal mobility management program, which making it difficult to meet the diversity of the future heterogeneous wireless networks management technology mobility needs. ?In this paper, we have deeply studied a number of relevant key issues about the network-based mobility management .First of all, summed up in recent years based on the terminal and network-based mobility management research as well as the status and trends of research at home and abroad, pointing out that the mobile wireless network management research ideas and the main research work carried out. Second, each launched a new Web-based regional mobility management program - Proxy Mobile IPv6, fast-switching method, the proxy mobile IPv6 domain management methods to switch between, agent authentication protocols such as Mobile IPv6, the three problems and research and research-based, using a powerful simulation tool NS-2 specific simulation, and simulation results are given for a detailed analysis of the conclusions. The main work of this paper is as follows: ?Firstly, the paper first analyzes the mobility management of wireless networks and to study the significance of the status quo, and then focused on the current terminal-based global mobility management protocol characteristics analysis of its inability to meet future mobility for low latency, low - complexity and easy to manage requirements. After the introduction of a local network-based mobility management ?protocol feature, while comparing the terminal-based global mobility management protocol and network-based mobility management protocol of regional characteristics and advantages of their own, pointing out that Web-based management is a regional mobility in the future mobile terminals within a small range of mobility management the best choice. ?Secondly, this paper a detailed analysis of the current proxy Mobile IPv6 domain to a variety of switching methods, pointing out the deficiencies of which, combined with IEEE802.21 link layer trigger the child, the proxy mobile IPv6 protocols as well as fast mobile IPv6, describes a mobile agent IPv6 domain fast switching method. ?Third, the paper introduces the current inter-domain only a PMIPv6 switch method to analyze the advantages of this method as well as the lack of switching, while light of the present switching method PMIPv6 few inter-domain situation, presents a inter-domain PMIPv6 switching method and a detailed analysis of the advantages of this method.Fourth, the paper has been to improve the current of a PMIPv6 initial authentication protocol, as well as within PMIPv6 switch authentication protocol, and presented at three typical scenarios of PMIPv6 different inter-domain authentication management protocol to switch to fill the current in the PMIPv6 inter-domain authentication management protocol switch space, and a detailed analysis of the new authentication protocol for security and efficiency. ?Fifth, this paper, an improved authentication protocol, as well as switching PMIPv6 domain presented in this paper in three different scenarios of a typical inter-domain switch PMIPv6 authentication management agreements, using a powerful network simulation tool NS-2 was simulated, and a detailed analysis of the simulation results. Based on simulation results presented in this paper can prove that several switch authentication protocol is feasible and efficient. ?Sixth, in-depth analysis of the current terminal-based global mobility management and network-based mobility management programs of regional advantages and disadvantages of each, pointing out that this combination of the two must be the future trend of mobility management solutions for the mobile management program pointed out the research.
