Armed Police Primary Institutions Building Digital Campus Design

Currently, the military transformation in the world continues to change in an accelerating pace. The form of the military conflicts and the mode of the armed forces construction have been changed dramatically for the past decades. For the Preliminary Command Academies(PCA)of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces(APF), due to their unique status and the contribution they make to the military education, they have been one of the focuses in the military information construction. How to accomplish such a goal is a very important issue in PCA's agenda. The Chengdu Command Academy(CCA) of Armed Police Forces is heavily supported by the head office of Chinese People's Armed Police Forces for its 2009 information construction project, and right now it is well under the way of the digital campus construction. Based on the real experience of digital campus construction for CCA, this dissertation studies all possible schemes and strategies of the digital campus construction for PCA of APF, and aims to offer some feasible solutions and references for other campuses'digitalization.Firstly, from a theoretical point of view, the dissertation analyzes the current status, the technical challenges and solutions of digital campus construction, focuses on the introduction of its characteristics, construction principle and goal, and proposes the demand-based analysis in accordance to the practical requirement of CCA.Secondly, the dissertation introduces the general technical requirement and system architecture design. Particularly, it presents the system architecture in great details. The digital campus construction is a comprehensive and huge system project, which involves many aspects of the Academy. Three aspects are focused on: the basic infrastructure of digital campus, the supporting environment of digital campus, and the system applications of digital campus.Thirdly, when it comes to the security issue in this project, the dissertation analyzes and proposes a plan based on six aspects of system security: management security, physical security, network security, system security, application security, and data security. For each aspect the security measures are proposed and illustrated. Finally, mainly for software engineering, a relatively standard implementation scheme of digital campus construction is put forward in order for the references to other academies.
