Design And Implementation Of Family Financial Management System In Minority Areas

In recent years, along with the economic development, people gradually have a motive of financial management and they hope they can supervise their family financial planning whenever necessary, so here is a need to supervise family financial planning. Currently there is a number of family financial management software on the market, but because the economic development of ethnic minority areas as well as the popularity of the network has formed a certain gap with that of other developed areas, therefore the software is not suitable for use in ethnic minority areas. It is necessary to develop a set of software to meet the need of family financial management in ethnic minority areas. Because it directly faces to the consumers and user groups, the market prospects are very good.This paper mainly introduces the design and development progress of the family financial management system for ethnic minority areas. By using Visual Basic 6.0 as a development tool, and Access 2003 as a backdoor database, We uses the ADO database access technology on the Windows XP platform to develop a set of single version of the family financial management software. This system will be mainly used to record the daily household income and expenditure, and family assets management, which includes: savings, bonds, stocks, funds, household goods, as well as various types of claims, debts, and it also can conduct a comprehensive summary of statistics of family assets from different perspectives. What's more the system can automatically calculate the number of types directions set by the user, and form a variety of statements and maps, which will give the user a comprehensive, intuitive, and detailed understanding of family financial position.The specific function of the system is to add, delete, modify, inquire and count various types of financial information. The realization of this system depends on its backdoor database. In accordance with the actual need of the financial management in ethnic minority areas and the regularization theory of relationship, we designs and optimizes the database. The database includes 14 tables, 8 figures, as well as some other objects. The system has those main functional modules: account management, day-to-day income and expenditure management, household goods management, financial securities investment management, debt management, the household assets management inquiring and counting systems. Add each module is divided into several small modules, so the user can set his/her financial modules in accordance with their actual needs and finally to complete his/her family financial management.Finally, by testing the software, we sum up an experience during developing this system with a number of recommendations. We hope that our effort in designing and developing this system will do a good to other similar software's development in the future.
