In this paper, we research and develop the shop floor network control system based on Industrial Ethernet; with the status that the management of the CNC shop Heterogeneous machines and the digital equipments are backward. The system is used on the integrated management and distributed control of the workshop equipments; provide scientific data for the management and decision of enterprise and it is benefit on speeding up the information process of the manufacture plant.Firstly, the article analyzes the problems of the current system, combined with the requirements of Hunan Ji You Beng Company, proposes a new design based on industrial Ethernet.Secondly, this article studies the main issues of usage of industrial Ethernet on the work plant. In the aspect of real-time, we propose full-duplex switching technology; in the aspect of reliability, we design the network structure with redundancy; in the aspect of safety, we use two level firewall technologies to guarantee the safety of the net, with fully analyzed.Additional, this article elaborates the hardware and software's realization, according to the design rule of the industrial Ethernet. On the hardware's aspect, the system's kernel layer uses two layer switches and the application layer uses three layer switch; and it uses serial server to realize the network link between the IPC and the CNC machine tool. On the software's aspect, the PC monitor software is developed based on the Delphi 7.0 programming environment, and realizes the function of real-time control, data display, result report and printing.And last, this article analyzes the composition of network-induced delay and the main factors who affect delays, simulates the delay of the star topology and the tree topology in OPNET network simulation software. The result shows that the tree topology is better for the requirement of industrial Ethernet than the line topology with simulation, and proves the effectiveness of the application that this article proposed.
