With the advancing of E-Education, educational technology ability has been an important part of teachers'professional development under the background of information. While educational technology training, which is a key measure to enhance the educational technology ability of teachers, has been carried out in many districts. However, with the deep going of the training, traditional training manner has gradually become unsatisfied to the actual requirement, and there are some deficiencies such as short training cycles, high cost, shortage of resources, poor actual effect, etc. According to the problems mentioned above, the research introduced the concept of performance and electronic performance supporting system to the educational technology training for college teachers; it also designed and developed college teachers' educational technology training performance supporting system to support the training.The thesis centering on the designing and development of the college teachers'educational technology training performance supporting system will be studied both theoretically and practically. The following research results have been obtained:the discussion of the main foundational theory of performance technology and EPSS, the presentation of the assumption to combine the EPSS with college teachers'educational technology training to support the teachers'learning work and the attempt to introduce teaching devise-supporting instrument to performance supporting system. By means of combination of performance technology and teaching design & theory, application of design method of performance technology, the thesis constructed a general framework and structural-functional model based on college teachers' educational technology training performance supporting system and implement the design methodology and solution to the development of the system. By the adopting of software development tools such as ASP technology and SQL Sever2000, an initial system prototype has been built, thus offered certain basis for the verifying of the feasibility of the design methodology.The thesis is made up of six chapters:Chapter One represents the background information and research significance of the present research and analyzed the status quo of the study and application of electronic performance supporting system at home and abroad. Chapter Two reorganizes some major concepts and their connotations, makes an elaborate description of the definition, compositions and characteristics of electronic performance supporting system, it also summarizes the college teachers'educational technology training and represents the principal theories referred to the development of the system. Chapter Three is the key chapter of this study. According to the basic principle of the designing of the system, it does a requirement analysis upon the system design by performance technology design methodology to construct a general framework and structural-functional module of the system and analyzes the designing of every functional model elaborately. Chapter Four is the core of the study; it puts forward the development program of the system, including the establishment of the development environment, the functional development of basic module, and the realization of the core technology and the testing methodology of the system. Chapter Five carries out a preliminary trial and evaluation on the platform, analyzes the application feedback of the training and lays a foundation for the modification and perfection of the platform. The last part of the thesis summaries the research and points out the deficiency existed.
