With the development of science and technology, particularly computer and network, people have entered the information society and therefore, way of life, mode of thinking, work style and education style have changed accordingly. Combination of network and education will bring about ultimate changes in the traditional educational ideology, concept, content and methods as well as mode of talents training. As an important source for network education, network courses offer user-friendly interface and excellent audio-visual sensory stimulation, make abstract concepts visualized and create an autonomous, interactive learning environment. Because of its significant status in current education studies, many disciplines have taken autonomous learning as their own research subject. The reason can be traced back to the fact that as learning ability, autonomous learning can not only boost learners' achievements but also lay solid foundation for lifelong learning and development. In view of this, it is significantly practical to promote the development of network learning with autonomous learning theory applied in the guidance of instructional design of network course.Based on the current situation, existing problems of instructional design of network course and the characteristics of autonomous learning, under the guidance of learning theories such as constructivism, this thesis takes the instructional design of network course of real right law as an example, aims to carry out a study of the conditions for facilitating autonomous learning in network environment, gets hold of the characteristics and regularities of autonomous learning, strengthens tools and environment design for systematic autonomous learning and integrates the strategies of promoting autonomous learning into network courses for the purpose of arousing motivation to network study and achieving expected results.This thesis is divided into six parts:Chapter one analyzes research background of this issue, summarizes current situation of instructional design of network course and expounds the aim, significance and methodology of this research.Chapter two illustrates the definition, characteristics, theoretical framework and different models of autonomous learning and elaborates restructuring of the factors of autonomous learning, the variation of learners' character and the definition of autonomous learning under network environment.Chapter three deals with the definition, characteristics, theoretical framework and classification of instructional design of network and analyzes the major models and technical support of current instructional design of network in details.Chapter four takes instructional design of network course of real right law as an example, constructs a systematic model of instructional design of network course based on autonomous learning and makes a thorough description of every link of instructional design, especially focusing on the construction of network learning environment on the basis of autonomous learning.Chapter five introduces two related case studies and makes detailed analysis and reflections.Chapter six is the conclusion which summarizes major findings, limitation of the research and suggestions for further study.
