On Journalists - Type TV Show Host

This thesis gives a deep analysis on the importance, the features, the roles, the news viewpoint and cultural quality of the journalist anchorman, for the purpose of meeting requirement on the TV anchorman in the news report reform, improve quality of the TV anchorman, and overall consolidating the training on journalist anchorman. The following four aspects are mainly discussed in this thesis.Chapter One: Development of Journalist Anchorman. The development of journalist anchorman is a new communication phenomenon, so it is a must to definite the journalist anchorman in analyzing this communication phenomenon. Journalist anchorman is composed of two key words, namely journalist and TV anchorman and it is necessary to deeply understand the journalist anchorman from the above two key words. The journalist anchorman has a long history in western countries and there is perfect theory which is valuable for our research. After a fairly long period of exploring on the TV anchorman in China, it is advocated to train journalist anchorman. The theory on TV anchorman is also needed to meet the requirement of the new time.Chapter Two: Features of Journalist Anchorman. The most obvious feature of journalist anchorman is the double identification of both journalist and anchorman, who is generally active in the news program. Being a journalist, he or she must find out overall, objective and authentic news, and report the actual events, must be sensitive in news reporting, courageous in interview and has familiar skill. Be a anchorman, he or she must play a leading role in the program, choose mode of hosting, and promote the process of the program, meanwhile, give deep analysis and comment on the event, in order to join together the program, transfer thoughts, communicate emotion, and absorb the audience. Chapter Three: The Role of Journalist Anchorman. The reason why journalist anchorman is recommended in the communication is the irreplaceable role in the news program. The general TV anchorman plays a role in promoting the procedure of the program, introducing the process of the program, performing in the improvisation, adapting to changing conditions on the spot, communicating program relations, and exaggerating the atmosphere of the program. The role of the journalist anchorman lines in: involving in the process of interview and editing, which is favorable for strengthening the integration of the program; transmitting with his own feeling, which is favorable for communicating with the media and audience; characterized transmitting, which is favorable for orientating public opinion.Chapter Four: The News Viewpoint and Cultural Quality of Journalist anchorman. At present stage, there exist some problems in the TV anchorman in China, and it is necessary to consolidate the news viewpoint and cultural quality of the TV anchorman. The news viewpoint has the following requirement on the journalist anchorman: insisting on Party spirit principle and keep the correct orientation of news public opinion; pay attention to the presentation in details, follow the progress and show realistic performance; have the quality of doubting and disclose the core of the thoughts; insist on the objective role and make sure a fair position. The journalist anchorman should also improve the cultural quality from the four layers such as scientific and reasonable spirit, profound idea and emotion, beauty appreciation and perfect personality.By adopting reference research method, transplant research method, comparative research method, case study method, and through analyzing and comparing many practical cases and phenomena, this thesis recognizes the common communication phenomenon or demand in an theoretical degree, gives an overall and systematic introduction on the journalist anchorman, probes the feature of journalist anchorman, and recognizes their roles during the communication activities. In combination of the analysis on the communication practice, the thesis puts forward the point of view on the training and development of journalist anchorman and provides reference on further developing the radio and TV broadcast cause.
