Based On Autocad's General Mechanical Design Aids Research And Development

With the increasingly competitive market,enterprises must continuously improve the officiency of product design in order to survive and develop in the competition.The product design can not be separated from the CAD software in the modem manufacturing enterprise.One important research aspect of mechanical engineers is how to develop the special software for enterprises from the common CAD software.It can shorten the design periods and heighten the production efficiency using the special software.This paper mainly researches the secondary development of AutoCAD system.The paper designs a suit of machine designing assistant tool and it can resolve some problems which is existent in the process of machine designing,such as the problems of inaccurate designing in surface texture,dimensional tolerance,geometrical tolerance and material. The assistant tool is developed in the environment of Visual C++.NET 2005,using ObjectARX which is the software development kit of AutoCAD system.It also uses MFC DLL frame,database access technology and the database software Access.The machine designing assistant tool can design and mark intelligently surface texture, dimensional tolerance,geometrical tolerance and material.It is convenient and user-friendly.The machine designing assistant tool system includes four modules.First of all,the paper analyses the function of each module and determine the project design of each module.Then it introduces the specific realization process.The paper introduces detailedly the interface design and program realization of surface texture module.It introduces simply the interface design and program realization of dimensional tolerance module,geometrical tolerance module and material module.Finally,it validates the function of each module through some examples.
