Community Cultural And Educational Professional Grid System Design And Key Technologies

With the social development and progress, business competition, the demand for culture and education is more urgent .Community, the basic unit of society, plays the role in linking society, government and residents. However, the interflow of information among different departments and organizations of community, along with other factors such as unreasonable service mode, prevent the traditional forms of community culture and education to increase the quality of residents, so that it is difficult to adapt to the modernization of enterprises and the development of the society. With carrying out the development of Digital Community in major cities of the country, harmonious community-building that satisfies the cultural and educational needs of the residents has become a key national tasks, according to the State Council's related document spirit of enhancing and improving the community.Based on the grid technology and its basic concept, the system, which makes fully use of different grid models in the field of information technology and urban management areas and takes advantage of solving the problems of resource integration and sharing and the management of community culture and education, puts forwards an innovative technology framework, a professional grid subsystem for community culture and education. Moreover, the system plays a significant role in promoting China's culture and education, the strategy of developing the community, the research of "Digital Community Services Demonstration Project" and so on.This article, first, on the precondition of the definition of professional grid, analyzes the problems of community culture and education under the background of community culture and education development and puts forwards a cultural and educational service mode based on grid services and resources. Then, according to the system resource sharing and service coordination requirements, it plans a professional grid system for community culture and education, achieves its management and service classification as well as coding information, and studies and analyzes the key technology of the system such as Resource management, the heterogeneous database integration under grid. At last, it gives a brief description of parts of applied functions. Meanwhile, it gives applied examples and conclusions, and outlook as well, in Kunshan. The paper is the research of the National Science and Technology Plan topic "Digital Community Services Demonstration Project" (No: 2006BAH02A30) undertook by the author's advisor.
