Most of them are of high accuracy and equiped with complicated transmission mechanisms. So it becomes more difficult to find out the failure reasons. A cigarettemachine can breakdown without any appearance and there's no rule for the failure mode to obey. The product line is so automatized that any failure of a component may make the whole line breakdown, which leads to lots of losts. The triditional Examining-Repairingmanagement System, which is according to the human experence and obey the after-failure repairing mode, is not able to meet the requirement of a modern cigarette manufacturing factory.With the development of Status-Monitoring and diagnosis technology, more and more cigarette manufacturers begin to use the special apparatus to monitor the machine condition. According to the analysis and diagnosis results it can be concluded that where the failure occurs, what its speciality is and how it will be in the future, and then we can take relevant measures. Normally the Status-Monitoring informaition should be more analysed, but the general failure diagnosis system can only provide the ordinary failure reason and the probility. The exact diagnosis needs human to integrate other conditions to draw the correct conclusion.In this thesis we make researches to build up a Status-Monitoring and Examining- Repairingmanagement System, which will be applied in the cigarette manufacturing factories. This system is based on the Status-Monitoring with considereation of informations such as production efficiency, quality level, material expend and machine vibration. It has the function that diagnose the running status of maker and packer and provide repair strategy using the accurate diagnosis and obscure neuronet technik. With the apply of this system we can build up a relationship between the machine running status and the productions referance. It helps to detect the failure as earlier as possible and to give the correct diagnosis. So that the lost coursed by over-maitance and suddenfailure can be reduced and the economic benefit would be raised.
