Based On The "diamond System" China's Tv Media Industry Development To Explore

Today, it's about 7 years from our country's entry into the WTO. During these years, the domestic market was opening up to the whole world step by step. China has already enter into the international competition, then, some day, the domestic TV media market which is protected by the policy all the time will also open up. However, the Chinese TV media industry is still an infant industry and it doesn't have the enough strength to compete with the powerful transnational media corporation. Once the big transnational media groups enter the Chinese market on large-scale, our country's TV media industry will be subject to a great shock. What's more, our country's culture is broad and profound, so, to China, the culture industry is special. It's different from the other manufacturing industries and it will be possible to be the one which gets to the top of the world most quickly. The words above can brightly show the urgency and feasibility of our country's TV media industry's development. Therefore, the author thinks that it's the time to make a comprehensive analysis on our country's TV media industry's development status.Through using the diamond system which includes the diamond model of Michael E·Porter and internationalized diamond model to make a comprehensive analysis on our country's TV media industry's development status to find the advantages and disadvantages. Point to the development status, the author puts forward some effective suggestions. This paper was separated to four parts. The first part introduces the research's background, status both at home and abroad, content, method, logical framework, significance, innovative points and defects of this article. The second part doesn't only make a profound statement to this article's theoretical method—diamond system and the characteristics of the TV media industry but also gives the explanation to the diamond system's applicability. The third part makes a comprehensive analysis on our country's TV media industry's development status based on the diamond system and establish our country's TV media industry's special diamond system. Through making the summary to the development status, the author gets the advantages and disadvantages of it. And then, in the last part, the author puts forward a series of effective suggestions.
