Commodity Dynamic Classification Of Rule-based System

From the business perspective, conversion rate is an important factor to reflect how an e-commerce website can increase her revenue. Then the author will analyze how search and browsing efficiency can help the conversion rate. We initiate the concept of Dynamic Classification during our search optimization. The later part defines the dynamic classification in a detail manner. Finally the implementation introduced in this paper is proven to contribute on the conversion rate by 2%.In the detailed design and implementation parts, the author provides the whole idea how the dynamic classification is implemented. Here is some highlights. 1. How to implement the scrubber and indexer for vertical search. 2. How to leverage the special characteristic of the vertical search engine to implement the dynamic classifier. 3. How the metadata design can help the strategy that the full metadata drive site will be converted to a community driven site. The whole implementation is called Magellan.
