Complex Hospital Information Platform For Regional And Implementation

The establishment of multi-hospital information platform will allow a group of hospitals to share patient information. Therefore, deferred or transferred patients will not require reexaminations. This can save resources by preventing re-x-raying and eliminating medical paperwork. Currently in China, this technology is being implemented gradually, however, it is still in its initial stages. In more technologically advanced countries, such as Japan and the United States, this type of system is already widely used.The group of hospitals referred to, is composed of various medical facilities within a region, such as local hospitals, specialists, private hospitals, medical centers. Through analyzing the current problems due to the lack of medical information sharing, a thesis can be made proposing that the establishment of an online patient record database can be extremely beneficial to the current medical system. The thesis is derived from analyzing the difficulties that today's system faces, and hence further verifies the requirement of this database. Due to the collection of patient's medical record, another capability feasible within the system is that through the analysis of the listed symptoms of the patient, the computer can automatically diagnose the patient. The thesis also analyses the possible methods to establish the database center, test the database. The aim of this thesis is to further China's medical capabilities through the use of advanced information systems.Through using ASP.NET's B/S framework technically, we construct a database center that combines information sharing capabilities, with data processing capabilities. By simply accessing the database center, the group of hospitals can share and exchange information.
