With the popularization and rapid development of computer, networking communications and information technology, Internet and intranet-based information management systems have become the inevitable trend for MIS of company. Information management systems based on the c/s has achieved the communication between client & server and is a great improvement of the MIS operation mode. With the wide application of the internet, B/S mode has become the mainstream of information management for it's particular advantage and the excellence expansibility of B/S-based multi-layer system was mode more and more companies to transform the information mangement from the clientele/server system to multi-layer system. Under the background of that, Sun company designs a platform of J2EE. J2EE is a kind of system structure that usimg Java2 to simplity the complet problems of development deployment and management of company's projet.This article takes background at the design of enterprise-class coal geological information system, By introducing related technology platform and system architecture, including the J2EE platform and structure, the development of the merits of MVC, related concepts of Struts framework, systems design and implementation of the key technology was studied and summarized, starts with the overall system structure, in view of industry computer application development needs. It bases on the Web, using Java technology integrated units profiles, administration management, design process management, query and statistics, management information systems management functions and improving enterprise efficiency and promote enterprise informatization construction. J2EE architecture to provide intermediate layer integration framework used to meet needs without too much cost and high availability, high reliability and scalability of the application needs, and effectively improving the interaction between other systems, for the Enterprise Information System for reference Construction.This system uses the Java language for the onstage development kit, selects MyEclipse5.5 as development software, and uses SQL Server2000 database in backstage.
