As the rapid development of information technology and the arrival of economic society, possessing higher information literacy is a basic requirement for the talent in future society. Intermediate health school students will be medical operators. They must be provided with fine professional information literacy if want to grasp the pulse of medical science and technology and comprehend their majors' development. So, it's significant to cultivate information literacy for intermediate health school students.This dissertation elucidates what professional information literacy intermediate health school students should possessed and how can cultivate student information literacy in the information technologic class. Guided by the modern educational theory, the author practiced research on it, combined actual teaching with action research. The dissertation contains four chapters.Chapter 1 clarifies the research background, aim, significance, creative points and research methods.Chapter 2 sets forth the connotation of information literacy. The author combines Chinese information literacy education situation with foreign countries' and brings forward the information literacy criteria which intermediate health school students should have.Chapter 3 investigated the information literacy of intermediate health school students at present, analyzed the information technology class' actuality of intermediate health school, pointed out problems from four aspects: teaching content, teaching method, teaching appraisement, teaching concept presently, construed the unused factors of boosting information literacy for students.Chapter 4,Guided by the constructivism theory, holding the teaching objectives accurately; expanding teaching content, construct characteristic information technologic class; selecting proper teaching means, cultivating students 'information literacy from omni directional; building multianalysis mechanism, etc, to promote intermediate health school students' professional information literacy pragmatically. The author took the measures in actual teaching, to consummate the theory by teaching practice, and verified the rationality & validity of the measures elementarily in intermediate health school information technologic class.
