This paper took the X-ray tube power supply as a research object and detailedly introduced the research and development process of direct current high voltage power supply used for X-ray tube and its realization of remote control. The design of the main circuit and the control system of the power supply system were detailedly introduced in the paper, and RS-485 bus was taken as communication method to realize the remote control function of the power supply system.The main contents of this paper were as follows:1. On the foundation of analyzing direct current high voltage power supply system for X-ray tube both home and abroad, the makeup of the power supply system researched in this paper and its realization strategy were put forward. Some key techniques during the realization of DCHV power supply were expressly researched: the occurrence principle of high frequency PWM quadrate waves and work principle of resonant inverter electric circuit.2. The main circuit of high voltage direct current power supply for X-ray tube had been researched and developed. The function of leading modules of the main circuit were analyzed earnestly, and the related parameters of those modules were detailedly calculated and designed.3. The control system of the direct current high voltage power supply for X-ray tube was designed. The control system of the power supply took the microprocessor ATmega16 as the core, to realize the functions such as steady voltage/steady current output,over voltage/over current protection etc. Through the RS-485 bus to communicate with PC, the microprocessor accepted the remote control signal from the PC and sent the feedback voltage/current sampling converted data to PC.4. The remote control system between PC and microprocessors was developed basing on RS-485 bus. The communication system adopted the master-slave control structure as its access control strategy. Communication agreement,hardware circuit and software programs were properly designed to realize its function. Anti-interference measure of communication was also analyzed at the end.The result of experiments showed that the direct current high voltage power supply for X-ray tube designed in this paper got its many advantages such as reliability and practicability. It had active economy benefit in industrial manufacture application and had certain promotion effects on the technical development of DCHV power supply.
