With the development of network technologies, popularization of Internet and maturity of database, the global traditional business is going through a significant transform; the Electronic Commerce is developing in an unbelievable speed. At the same time, the development of Electronic Commerce also urges to the accumulation of customer transaction data of website. How to make the best usage of these data, convert the data into useful information and knowledge, improving the website service quality and creating much more profit space accordingly, is which the problem Electronic Commerce needs to solve urgently.Data mining refers to extracting ordinary, implicit, previously unknown and usable knowledge from large amounts of data. In network times, Data mining has being applied to the data analysis and handling of Electronic Commerce website.The main work of this thesis acquire supports of the state's 863 project "Development and application of data mining application platform" (2001AA1 13181) and the Shanghai Science and Technology Development Fund Project "the research of data mining application platform and related technology" (01 5115010). This paper is studied by going deep into understanding Electronic Commerce field knowledge and data mining technology, sum up the patterns and development circumstances of domestic Electronic Commerce, according to the characteristic of C2C-based Electronic Commerce data, elaborate data mining which application to the C2C electronic commerce data analysis. We creatively apply the data mining technology to the particular application of Electronic Commerce. The application of data mining in Electronic Commerce has carried out the beneficial exploration.We take use of searching engine and get open data from three main domestic C2C websites (Taobao, eBay and Paipai). Then we take data integration with ETL tool and make deep analysis for electronic business transaction data with data mining technology. It provides powerful support and reliable warranty for accurate electronic business application decision. It not only helps sellers understand more deeply the buyer's demands, purchasing power and shopping characteristics of buyers and dig potential buyers, but also helps buyers understand commodities better and provides buyers with convenient transaction ways and wide choices. It has some practical values and realistic significance for C2C customers, both buyers and sellers.
