Computer Room Management System Design And Realization

With the development of the computer network and the implementation of education information projects, more and more schools have bought a lot of computer equipments and have implemented computer networks. This helps in creating a good working and learning environment for school teachers and students. Recently many colleges and universities have created some system architecture-related courses, and have encouraged students to use computer resources for their study after school hours. However, how to effectively manage the computer labs, which kind of billing strategy will be applied. The solution of these problems has certain significances to increase the students' enthusiasm to use computer labs.The management system of computer labs has become a hot technique topic during these years. There are several mature computer lab management systems, including pure software systems and hardware-software-mixed systems (e.g. IC card). The computer lab management system in our school is the pure system. There are several disadvantages. The system is suitable for the extra-curricular use, as the students input their account number and password to use the computers, but unconvenient for the free-curricular use. The students who want to login must wait until the unlocking operations made by the administrator. It is the same thing at the rebooting. It is not only an onerous task for administrators but also an awful restriction for the students. The system we provided focuses on the contradiction between the free-curricular use and the extra-curricular use. The system is a comprehensive and safe computer lab management system which is adaptable to the current pattern of the computer lab management. The opportunity of the system mainly includes that the management of the students' login/logout, all charges and accounts reported for management, the right of students, computer usage and computer-assisted normal circumstances and the analysis of management. The safety of the entire system lies in the strict access control, which means different managers have different management authority and different levels of authority have different management softwares. The password is needed when using these softwares, which avoids the confusion during the computer lab management.
