Gas-steam combined cycle power plant improves a lot on efficiency and environmental protection compared to traditional thermal technology. With the continuous progressing of technology, lots of combined cycle power plants have been built in the Eastern China. In the paper, we take uniaxial 9F grade combined cycle unit as representative to study, design and realize decision making assistant system of combined cycle, enhancing the plant maintenance and operation.Decision making assistant system contains maintenance interval calculation module and online performance calculation module, but mathematical model of the modules is relative independent. Maintenance interval model and procedures are confirmed mainly according to heavy gas turbine maintenance data set provided by manufactory. Gas Turbine is divided into combustion, hot gas path and rotor components. The maintenance interval is defined by the rectangle established on the factor-starts and factor-hours which take factors influence the interval into consideration.Online performance computing model and procedures are primarily based on the basic principles of combined cycle. It puts combined cycle unit into compressor, combustor, gas turbine, HRSG, steam turbine and the overall combined cycle unit and calculate thermal parameters separately for them. The system takes empirical formula to amend the key parameters, then, it combines domestic and international literature information on the simplified algorithm to reduce the amount of electronic computation..NET programming framework and PI real-time/historical database programming interface software technology used in the implementation of system are elaborated on the thesis of their roles and usage. In order to improve the scalability and user experience, the article also introduces currently popular programming skills such as ORM and Ajax used in the systemThe final part of the article discusses the framework of combined cycle decision making assistant system, server calculation program and web application. The specific program implementation of gas and steam thermodynamic properties calculation procedures, maintenance interval computational procedures and on-line performance calculation procedures is another keystone.
