Many techniques have been applied in Automated Guided Vehicle System (AGVS),the essential equipment of in modern delivery system, such as sensor, sig-nal processing,computer automatic control, tele-communication and machinery. A comprehensive reviewon its present situation in practice and an analysis of its features, types and keytechnologies is gived in the article.In this project, an AGVS is used for long-distance control, automatic guide, deliveryof goods, shunning obstacles and warning in advance.The system is overall designed with the control centre, the PC104 embedded system.And, the electromagnetic and vision guiding systems are designed and also the correlatedhardware for the guiding systems. The brushed direct motors are applied in the walkingsystem and the stepping motor is used in the delivery system, and the drivers and controlfor them are developed. In the system, the hardware model for the long-distance controland shunning obstacles and warning are produced.The image guiding and the electromagnetic algorithm are designed.The algorithm ofspeed control based on the subarea PID has been studied in the article.. The last job isprogramming the software for the system control and long-distance control. At last thesystem has been tested on spot.
