One of the current highlights in E-Commerce research field is Collaborative Commerce, a new business pattern in which the enterprise uses new technologies such as Internet, BPM and workflow to conduct various business collaborations within and across the supply chain throughout the organization and finally realizes full use of resources by changing the mode and way of operation.Based on the theory of the Collaborative Commerce, the thesis studies the application and development of workflow in Collaborative Commerce. The defects of existing workflow products are analyzed in the thesis. In order to suit the Collaborative Commerce better, the thesis proposes a lightweight workflow system architecture built on the plug-in architecture, and its process model and relative design implementation. The workflow process model based on FSM (Finite State Machines), it improves the flexibility of workflows via action-based extension and enhances the describing ability of the process model. A independent security authentication mechanism is also designed in the thesis. As a single sign-on framework, the security authentication mechanism can be applied to various information system which based on web. In connection with aspect-oriented programming, based on AOP a new exceptions-handling model is brought forward. It separates the exceptions from business logic so as to deal with various exceptions, make the code reuse better and solve the problem of code tangling and code scattering. The Web interface of workflow based on portlet, which can supply personalized Portal.The architecture of workflow adopts a unique plug-in architecture designed in accordance to OSGi. The design for a plug-in framework which adopts some OSGi open-source frameworks is described as well, this framework introduces the hardware-specific dynamic plug-in feature into enterprise application software. This enables software to extend functionality by adding plug-ins during runtime, significantly eases the scalability and reusability problems widely scattered in application software. The design and implementation of Metafile, PluginManager, PluginLoader and the extensity of plugin are proposed in the thesis.The application of SH-flow in Collaborative Commerce platform of Chaoyang district of Beijing, background of project and the design of project are described at the end of the thesis. The thesis also proposes the interface of SH-flow.
