Higher Endogenous Integration Of Academic Resources

Internal academic resource in universities is a overview which includes academic papers, dissertations, bookmaking, textbooks, patents, research reports and so on. It is a accumulation of experience through several years' teaching and researching .The quality of research result, the quantity of excellent papers, the amount of invention patents and so on reflect the research level of higher education and the ability of output. Internal academic resource is the according of evaluating research work and research innovation ability, is a high quality literature resource used by students and teachers. Up to now, these resources are collected and saved by the science & technology division or graduate department, they are only used as the according of identifying the fruits and declaring encouragement, but the academic value of internal academic resource are not touched upon and the databases built by different government have different structures and different ways of retrieval. If the user wants to seek some information he wants, he must input the retrieval words repeatedly in different databases. It not only wastes the time and energy, but also it can't insure the veracity. It is not convenient for the user to use these resources .So it is significant to integrate the internal academic resource and to realize the union search and resources sharing. Integration is also named assemblage. The integration of internal academic resource is to integrate internal academic results produced by teachers and students on the same platform, to manage them uniformly by the technology of computer, communication, network and database, in order to share these information resources.This article talks about the necessity, principle and methods of integrating the internal academic resource, and emphatically sets forth the global design schema of integrating resources by building union search plat of the internal academic resource. In the last chapter, taking the case of Tianjin Polytechnic University., the author introduces the designing thoughts, the exploiting steps and the functions of "internal academic resource platform of TJPU" .This platform is on the base of the B/S, applies the skill of JSP, JDBC, Microsoft SQL Server. It includes two parts: the front part and the back part. The front part has these functions: seeking from different databases, browsing freely, statistics of papers and so on . The back part can realize the function of modifying, adding and deleting the internal academic resource; As the same time, in order to insure the veracity and security of data, the back part has the function ofmanaging the users' account and user right. The plat has many good comings ,such as strong ability, simple deployment, safety institutions, good expansibility, transplant ability, vindicatory, managing several resources centrally, issuing information automatically and rapidly.
