At present, sensorless control have become a development trend of control technique for brushless DC motor (BLDCM).This paper mainly studies some pivotal techniques——position detection, start and control method, which surrounds brushless DCmotor (BLDCM) without position sensor control system's design, And aims to designa control system of brushless direct current motor with DSP chip——TMS320F2812as the controlling core.The article first discusses the theory and basic component sectors of a BLDCM, andthen, based on the mathematical model of BLDCM, a modeling and simulation ofBLDCM system in MATLAB has been proposed. The model can be applied to verifythe rationality of other control calculate ways, and offers a new thought way fordesigning and debugging actual motors.According to the demand of motor drive system, as well as BLDCM characteristicsand the functions of DSP, a sensorless control system project of BLDCM has beenadopted. About the control system of DSP, the hardware and software design of thecontrol system is dissertated in detail.The experimental results indicate that the control system of DSP can make the motorstart fast and stable with wider area of speeding. This BLCDM control system has thecharacteristics of simple structure, high dependability, and can be used in many fields.
