Nowadays, the parameters-supervision used in oil fields for well drilling commonly use the Industry instrument architecture whose kernel is single chip.The supervisor often works by itself, and provided with simple communication functions. It meets the requirement of on-the-scene well drilling, but data- obtaining is only on the scene, the performance is not very full-scale, especially in data storing ,it is greatly limited; In the practical well drilling, we urgently need a new kind supervising system which can not only meet the requirement of on-the-scene well drilling, but can also support remote data access and control. In this thesis, we propose a distributed well-drilling supervising system which is based on wireless communication GPRS/SMS. The system can not only satisfy the on-site application, but also satisfy the technical staff at the station who has an urgent requirement to get the real-time information about the well-drilling. The whole system is composed of three parts, which are on-the-pot data gathering (RTU), wireless transportation and remote supervising center. The RTU gathers the run-time parameters and does some processing, to be used by the well-drilling. The processed parameters also be transmitted to the supervisor center of the oil-field by wireless communication GPRS/SMS, the supervising center supervise all the exploring scene by processing the received exploring parameters of every single well. By processing the data of multiple exploring well together, we can depict the oil-field geology distribution of one area more precisely, so that the distribution of the oil well is more scientific. It has directing significance to the exploring of well-field.In the whole well drilling supervising system, remote communication is key part of the system, new exploring points of oil well are often at the edge of oil field, which is far from the base station of the oil-field, and they are distributed in location, their distances from the base station varies from several miles to several hundred miles.
