Resources For Basic Education Search Engine, Automatic Summarization Technology Research

In the 21th century, our human society is an information society. In the field of basic education, we research and developed an efficient and intelligence basic education resources search engine, for provide more education related resources for students, teachers, parents and educational institutions.In the basic education resources search engine, the automatic abstraction is an important part of displaying the summary information of Web resources. We start the work from the analysis of kinds of different structure Web resources. We designed the methods for extracting the information of Web resources.After extracting the information of Web resources, the basic education resources search engine need to make automatic abstraction for each Web resources. The automatic abstraction not only can be used for files compressed version for storage and analysis, but also can enhance the efficiency of processing and retrieval.By analysing the characteristics of resources for basic education and existing methods of automatic abstracting, we designed an automatic abstracting algorithm which integrates the term weight in the field of basic education and , at the same time, considers the statistic information, such as, sentence position and sentence length.It also introduced the algorithm design ideas and the steps of realization. We also make the evaluation and summary for the practice of our automatic abstracting algorithm in the basic education resources search engine. And we make a scientific evaluation and review, and a vision for the next phase of improvements.
