In recent years, as an emerging program type, talk show displays like a raging fire in TV . Actually the most basic way of human being to transmitting information and communication, is endowed with new meaning and extension when appearing in TV as a program type and presenting the status of intercommunion among individuals in public and sharing group resources to the public. No doubt that it is a pioneering work for talk show to introduce human communication to the mass media of communication. Not only for it taking advantage of human communication to supplement and enrich the content of mass media, but also for it utilizes the mass media to assist and expand the affection of human communication to enlarge social impact of mass media in the meantime.This thesis will survey talk show in the view of mass communication theory, will take an analyse to three different type of talk—talk show, chat and gossip. And point out the characteristics of these three type between human communication and mass media communication—talk show is more prone to the interview of communication between two people, chat is a kind of group communication to the purpose of "Seeking the Common Ground" while the gossip taking the unconventional way to fulfill the "Seeking Differences ". On the above basis, this thesis analyzes some communication process about typical programs, sorts out the effect which anchorpersons play in several kinds of human communications, and exploits how to transit the human communication to mass media of communication. We will conclude in the end that, the goal talk show is eagerly seeking for is to achieving a program through sincere communication between anchorperson and object speaker, and audience's communication as well.
