WebGIS is combined with the Internet technology and the GIS technology. GIS functions to be extended to the www dominary truly become a tool for public use.. From a arbitrary nodes, Internet users can browse the WebGIS site and get the spatial data, the production of thematic maps, as well as space retrieval and spatial analysis, thus enabling GIS into every household. The estate management system, which mentioned in the paper has two specialties. One is the large-scale distributing of estate resources, and the other is the large number of the estate. And using of network and get a reasonable distribution of resources, How to design a estate management WebGIS system becomes the primary task. And the WebGIS which is based on the distributed computing strategy is introduced. The integration of the GIS and the estate management can make the decision-making to be visualization, and the control can be intelligent . and the costs can be reduced ,and the system reliability can be enhanced, and more stability and more security can be gotten. The research goal is to establish a estate management WebGIS system. Based on the technology of WebGIS currently, the model of the estate management based on the J2EE is introduced . And the application of this model is establisded. The results showed the use of J2EE GIS technology can enhance the interoperability and flexibility .And new computing platform standards for a large region-wide information sharing and comprehensive study of space provides comes into being . The estatemanagement WebGIS system, based on J2EE ,uses the distributed structure, not only in resolving the traditional WebGIS space limitations, increased staff efficiency and reduced staff strength, but also have a higher economic efficiency.
