Dsp-based Image Preprocessing Algorithm And Realization

The article is based on TV guidance system. We have researched the image pre-processing technology and provide theory preparation and technology support for the development and experiment of the weapon system.Image-Processing System choose fixed TMS320DM642 chip of TI Company as processor because TV guidance system need real-time Image-Processing ability. The job responsibility of the chip will be 3 aspects as following:First, in this article the Image-Processing algorithm theory has been researched which contain Histogram, MedianFilter, EdgeCounterSobel and JPEG En/Decode based on DM642.Secondly, we debug and real-time monitoring of the program behavior by Analysis Tool for CCS software. Compare with the result of the program we know that Image-Processing executing by DM642 is much faster than computer.At last, the dependability and the expansibility of the software have been improved by DSP/BIOS real-time operating system and Reference Framework. And we also optimized the memory configuration according to the memory structure of TMS320DM642 and static configuration of DSP/BIOS.
